Changes to ICB footprints – Craven

Posted on: 7 October 2026

NHS England and The Department of Health and Social Care have confirmed that all Integrated Care Board (ICB) boundaries will match new local government footprints. This means that Craven, currently part of our Bradford District and Craven place will move into the Humber and North Yorkshire ICB footprint by 1 April 2027.

In the coming weeks and months, we will work closely with NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB, wider partners and stakeholders to transfer commissioning arrangements for our people and communities in Craven to ensure a comprehensive and timely handover for that area.

We don’t anticipate any significant changes for patients in Craven, who will continue to be seen and treated by their current GP practice, along with other health and care settings.

NHS West Yorkshire ICB and NHS Humber and North Yorkshire ICB will have further conversations with organisations, including GP practices, primary care networks and Airedale NHS Foundation Trust to discuss these changes in more detail.

We will continue to keep everyone updated as and when further information is shared with those affected ICBs.
