Following a competitive assessment process, Jonathan Webb has been appointed as the substantive Chief Executive of NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB).
Jonathan has been Interim Chief Executive of the ICB since April 2026, having previously served as Director of Finance and Deputy Chief Executive.
Before coming to the ICB, Jonathan was Chief Finance Officer and Deputy Chief Officer for NHS Wakefield CCG. During this time, Jonathan was also the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership's Lead Director of Finance.
Mark Chamberlain, Chair of NHS West Yorkshire ICB, said:
“I would like to thank Jonathan for his strong and extensive system wide leadership over the last six months and look forward to working with him in the future as our substantive Chief Executive.
So much great work has and continues to take place across West Yorkshire, focussed clearly on addressing and reducing health inequality. Jonathan will continue to make sure that everything we do as an organisation and working with the wider West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership has our people, staff and local communities at its core.
The next 12 months will be critical for the ICB as we implement our new operating model, focused on the ICB being a strategic commissioner, convenor and integrator.
We must continue to work with the Board, wider partners, local communities and staff across West Yorkshire to respond to and deliver the 10 Year Health Plan, using the rich and diverse insight we have about our patients and communities across West Yorkshire.”
