Nominations now open for West Yorkshire’s Adversity, Trauma and Resilience Awards 2026

Adversity, Trauma and Resilience AwardsNominations are now open for the first West Yorkshire Adversity, Trauma and Resilience (ATR) Awards 2026.

The awards mark five years of the West Yorkshire ATR Programme and will celebrate the people and teams who are transforming systems, services and lives across our region. The celebration event will take place on Monday, 23 March from 6pm at the Royal Armouries Leeds.

There are 12 award categories recognising the compassion, courage and creativity driving trauma-responsive change. You can apply yourself or nominate someone whose work you believe deserves recognition.

Emm Irving, Head of  Improving Population health, said:

Over the past five years we have seen extraordinary commitment across West Yorkshire to understanding adversity and responding to trauma in better ways. These awards are a chance to recognise the individuals and teams who are leading that change and improving lives every day. I encourage people to put forward nominations and help us celebrate the progress we have made together.”

Nominations close at 5pm on Friday, 28 February 2026.
