Project Hope Evaluation Report
Project Hope is an innovative programme from the West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, aimed at transforming employment and wellbeing outcomes for care-experienced young people aged 16 to 25. Co-designed with young people and partner organisations, the programme has provided paid placements, coaching, mentoring, workshops and holistic support across health, care, and commercial sectors.
This evaluation report outlines the impact of Project Hope so far – from 72 expressions of interest and over 1,400 funded days of travel to life-changing outcomes such as permanent job offers and newfound confidence. It also highlights the challenges faced, the lessons learned, and the ongoing commitment to breaking down systemic barriers.
Explore how collaboration, compassion, and inclusive practice are helping young people not just to survive, but to thrive.

West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership Children, Young People and Families Christmas Advent 2024:
Following the positive feedback received each year for the advent, we wanted to continue to shine a light on the fantastic work happening across West Yorkshire to support children, young people and their families. Due to the amount of work we have received to celebrate and showcase, we have extended the advent this year to cover the whole month of December 2024.
Please forward to all of your colleagues to share these stories and achievements.
