The weight stigma insight library is a new resource designed to support healthcare professionals, community organisations, educators and other sectors in understanding and addressing weight stigma.
We created this library to bring together research, practical tools and lived experience so that decision-makers and practitioners can access reliable evidence and insights in one place. By tackling weight stigma, we aim to improve health outcomes, ensure more inclusive services and challenge harmful stereotypes.
The library features a wide range of materials – from peer-reviewed studies to toolkits, policy responses, podcasts and family resources. Articles range from in-depth academic research to practical guides and from policy insights to personal perspectives.
To access the library click on the weight stigma insight library tab on the Leeds Beckett University Obesity Institute website.
