Registration is now open for the Adversity, Trauma and Resilience (ATR) Knowledge Exchange 2026, a flagship two-day virtual event bringing together partners from across West Yorkshire and beyond to strengthen learning, collaboration and system-wide change.
Taking place online on Wednesday 18 March and Thursday 19 March 2026, from 9:30 to 4 each day, the event offers a flexible, drop-in format. Attendees can join the sessions that best suit their schedules and interests, making it accessible to colleagues working across a wide range of services and settings.
Delivered by the Adversity, Trauma and Resilience Programme - run jointly with the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership and the West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Partnership - the Knowledge Exchange provides a dedicated space for professionals, experts and community members to share best practice, explore new evidence and deepen understanding of how adversity and trauma impact individuals and communities.
Now in its sixth year, the 2026 Knowledge Exchange comes at a particularly significant moment. Against a backdrop of system change across the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the West Yorkshire ATR Programme, this year’s event offers an opportunity to pause, reflect and reconnect. It may also represent one of the final opportunities for partners to gather in this format as the programme evolves.
The theme for 2026 will focus on trauma-informed system change, while also celebrating the progress, partnerships and collective impact achieved across West Yorkshire to date. From preconception through to adulthood, partners remain committed to acting early, building resilience and reducing adversity and trauma for people and communities across the region.
Across the two days, participants will:
- reflect on progress and learning to date
- share evidence, insight and best practice
- explore what it truly means to be a trauma-informed and trauma-responsive system
The virtual event will feature presentations, expert panels and live question and answer sessions, with guest speakers from the public, private and voluntary sectors, alongside individuals with lived experience.
The event is open to everyone working across the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership and partner organisations.
