Carers Rights Day is always a good moment to pause and reflect, but this year’s theme ‘know your rights, use your rights’ really resonates. I currently work full time at West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) while caring for my adult son, Toby, who has Down’s Syndrome and other complex medical needs.
