We've been working with mHabitat to understand the needs of patients when considering remote consultation platforms. At separate primary care and secondary group sessions we looked at what the system is like now, what barriers there are to using virtual appointments/consultations and how we could make things better. This year’s UK Consumer Digital Index report focused on the significant impact the pandemic has had on digital behaviours and financial priorities. Yorkshire and Humber showed some of the greatest development in digital engagement at 96%, a 6% increase compared to 2020, putting the region only 1% behind the national leader and 1% over the national average. - Your Healthwatch Leeds published their latest report on digital inclusion which this time focuses on the experiences of people with the greatest health inequalities. The report provides a snapshot of how people are feeling about phone and digital services right now. Community voices are an important part of decision making and we will use the insight to inform the work we are progressing collectively around digital inclusion. This includes running a series of co-design workshops early next year to prioritise activities to improve access to technology and the internet, whatever someone’s circumstances
